Finally!

A very timely official statement, backed by an official study, that confirms what has been obvious for many years.

This should cause graver alarm than any economic crash. A financial crisis can be solved. The depletion of forest cover, however, is irreversible.

Loss of biodiversity doesn’t get as much publicity mileage as Wall Street, but biodiversity is more fundamental to economics than Wall Street.
